The annual poll, presented by The Republican and MassLive, celebrates its 10th anniversary and continues the tradition of readers voting their favorite breweries, salons, bakeries, and in our case, golf courses in Western Massachusetts.
2022 Best of the City - Best Golf Weekend
Boston Common Magazine presents the premier "Best of the City" issue, featuring the ultimate guide to luxury living in the city and beyond. GreatHorse was honored to be the winner of the Best Golf Weekend category.
2022 Golf Inc. Best New Amenity of the Year - Private Clubs
The newest lodging facility at GreatHorse received third place in the 2022 Golf Inc. Magazine Amenity of the Year contest in the Private Club category. Entries were judged on project goals, overall aesthetics, and financial benefit.
The vision behind The New Lodge, a new member guest house at GreatHorse, was to create lodging with a premium layout for entertaining for its members, from private, elegant dinners to quaint birthday celebrations.
The shared kitchen and living area were built as the socialization hub of The New Lodge, which opened in August 2021.
All four bedrooms can be reserved together so large groups can have private rooms to sleep but can spend time together in the shared kitchen and living area. Members are not required to reserve the entire facility if they do not need to, so they have the flexibility of reserving the amenity on a per-room basis.
